2011 Conference Overview

 



KPMG’s 1st GCC Energy Conference ’ was held at Shangri-La Hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Over 175 senior industry executives attended from the regional Government and Oil & Gas sectors.

Energy industry leaders as well as global and regional KPMG Oil & Gas specialists came together to present a current and intensive program on current strategic, financial, operational, organizational and environmental issues that are on the minds of Energy sector executives across the region and around the world.

The full day conference covered some of the most pressing topics concerning the global and regional Oil & Gas sector, which included: Cost Optimization, Performance Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Sustainability, Macro-economics of Natural Gas, Entrepreneurship & Local Content Development, among others.
